Huge chalice-like flowerheads of watermelon-pink bloom during May on tulip ‘Renown’. The petal edges soften towards their margins to apricot and salmon shades and deepen at their bases.
An excellent tulip for cutting thanks to its long stems and voluptuous flowers, tulip ‘Renown’ is long-lasting both as a cut flower and in the garden.
Marries well with other sunset-toned tulips such as ‘Menton’, ‘Ogene’, ‘Ballerina’, and the showy and glamorous ‘Apricot Parrot’.
