The blooms of Decorative Dahlia ‘Golden Emblem’ gleam like newly minted coins, their gilded yellow petals glowing in the sunshine. A spectacular sight in beds and borders, these showy flowers are produced in abundance from the height of summer until late autumn.
This decorative dahlia 'Golden Emblem' variety is made of voluminous layers of silken, curved petals, creating a fascinating form. The majestic flowers are held aloft on elongated stems above verdant, bushy foliage. Snip a few stems to arrange in a vase and brighten your home with their radiant demeanour.
Perfect for adding richness and lustre to your late-season display, growing to a height of 100 cm.

Care Guide
To grow Dahlias, select a sunny spot with well-drained soil, and dig a 30 cm deep hole. Plant the tuber 10 cm below the soil surface, spacing multiple tubers 45 cm apart, or 90 cm for taller varieties. Water consistently, maintaining moist but not saturated soil and protect new shoots from slug damage with eco-friendly methods. Feed plants during the blooming period with liquid plant food. Provide support for stems which will reach 60-90 cm tall depending on variety. Enjoy spectacular blooms from late summer until first frosts. Cut or deadhead the flowers regularly for a continually flourishing display. Once blooming has finished, cut back foliage before lifting, drying and storing the tubers in peat-free substitute, in a frost-free place until the following spring.

Cascade Begonia 'Sunray' is excellent for adding warm colour to your summer displays. Orange-yellow double blooms that can reach up to 9 cm in diameter. Our begonias flower for months on end, from May until at least September in glorious, saturated shades of orange and yellow.
Begonias thrive best in light soil which is rich in leaf-mould, in a position in part shade where the layered flowers shimmer as they catch the light. Start in March or April, preferably in a cold frame or greenhouse.
Fill pots, hanging baskets, window-boxes, unusual vintage containers and borders with cascade begonias for a show-stopping display. They can reach a flowering height of between 20-25 cm.
