Hemerocallis Bogeyman
M6407
Hemerocallis 'Bogeyman' is a striking Day Lily with dark blooms - the deep maroon, near-black ruffled petals cradle a golden-yellow centre which glows like a lantern at twilight.
These flowers have the feel of the mysterious; quiet, powerful, fleeting. Each Hemerocallis 'Bogeyman' bloom lasts a single day, and somehow, knowing this makes them even more impossible to look away.
Thrives in fertile soil. They are permanent plants, which can remain undisturbed for years, increasing in size and beauty as time goes on, seldom needing attention. Plant in groups amongst shrubs or with other perennials, where summer colour is often lacking.
Care Guide
Hemerocallis thrive in a sunny, well-drained spot, woven between perennials and shrubs for added summer colour. Plant roots with the crown just under the soil surface, 30-40 cm apart in fertile soil, between November and March. Provide regular watering, ensuring the soil stays consistently moist until established.
Little care is required for these rewarding perennials which can remain undisturbed for years in the garden. Divide clumps every few years to re-invigorate plants. Smaller varieties can be grown in large pots of multi-purpose compost with added manure.

Nemorosa
M5104
The wild wood anemone, with its delicate pink tinged, white petals is a magical sight in spring. Anemone ‘Nemerosa’ forms a splendid early spring carpet, under trees and shrubs and in the dappled sunlight of woodland areas and is the recipient of a prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the RHS.
Plant the rhizomes on their longest side, just beneath the surface of your soil, which should ideally be naturally rich in leafmould and sited in cool shade. Left undisturbed, Anemone ‘Nemerosa’ will happily naturalise and flower year after year.
