Early Double Tulip 'Monsella' is a such a zesty addition to our potted bulbs collection, with wonderful yellow petals with flame-like red stripes the bowl shaped flowers make such a statement in garden borders or pots.
This Early Double tulip variety has excellent longevity, with individual blooms lasting for weeks both in the garden and in the vase. Bring theatrical flair to your window boxes, containers, bedding displays and floral arrangements with the spectacular blooms of tulip ‘Monsella'.

Care Guide
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep, spaced 10-20cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
