Zephyranthes Rosea
M6893
Zephyranthes 'Rosea', often called the Pink Rain Lily, is a charming miniature known for beautiful light pink blooms that appear after warm summer rains. Each flower is a petite, open trumpet, glowing against a neat tuft of slender, grass-like foliage.
Despite their delicate look, Zephyranthes 'Rosea' is surprisingly resilient, thriving in sunny, well-drained positions and naturalising gently over time. Perfect for pots or the front of borders.
Care Guide
Plant Zephyranthes in a sunny, well-drained spot where they will spread freely in the garden. Sandy soil types which have a neutral to slightly acidic pH suit these plants best. Plant bulbs in groups or drifts, 5 cm deep, spaced 10 cm apart in the soil. Water generously after planting and allow to settle.
Drought tolerant Zephyranthes, known as rain lilies, spring into flower in late summer, usually following a heavy rain soaking and enjoy humid conditions.
