Tropaeolum Tuberosum
M6851
Tropaeolum 'Tuberosum', is an intriguing climbing perennial growing to 2 metres. Its slender, twining stems carry delicate, shield-shaped leaves and vibrant, trumpet-like flowers in glowing shades of orange-red. These fiery blooms appear from late summer into autumn, creating a lively contrast against the cool green foliage.
This vigorous climber is perfect for scrambling up trellises, walls and fences. Tropaeolum 'Tuberosum' has been granted an RHS Award of Garden Merit for outstanding, reliable performance.
Care Guide
Tropaeolum will thrive almost anywhere, but prefers a sunny position and well-drained soil. Plant rhizomes horizontally just under the surface 30 cm apart and divide in the autumn.
