Bessera is a delicate species with graceful slender stems, carrying clusters of pendant, bell-shaped flowers. Native to Mexico, Bessera brings vibrant colour to borders and containers. Compact and easy to grow, enjoying a warm spot in the garden.

Also known as ‘coral drops’, the dangling blooms of Bessera 'Elegans' resemble a necklace of pendant jewels. With their vermilion petals contrasting against a cream interior, the clusters of bell-shaped blooms are displayed above wispy foliage.
Carried on fine, wiry stems, the flowers appear to be floating in mid-air, bringing movement and airy lightness to your garden display. Reaching a height of up to 60cm, Bessera 'Elegans' creates a tropical feel in the middle of a sheltered, sunny border or amongst containers.
Flowering from July to August, these fiery blooms offer revitalising colour in late summer.
